July 18 & 19, 2009
Come out for two full days of all things lavender – tours, workshops, demonstrations, lavender baked goods and liquid refreshments, local musicians, self-harvesting and more!


SEE LAVENDER
Take a guided tour through the fields, Drying Barn, Distillery,
Production Facilities and Demonstration Garden or
stroll through the fields on your own. Be sure to bring your camera!

SMELL LAVENDER
Harvest your own fragrant bouquet of organic lavender in the Cutting Field.


HEAR LAVENDER
Workshops and Demonstrations include: Lavender Cultivation, Essential Oil Distillation,
Cooking with Lavender (with local chef Anna Maria de Freitas) and a special
"Meet the Farmer" discussion with founder and owner Stephen Robins


TOUCH LAVENDER
Lavender craft making: wreaths, wands, hand-made paper
Lavender Activities for Children: face-painting, faerie wand and crown making

TASTE LAVENDER
Taste our wide range of lavender culinary offerings that we make in the Pelindaba Bakery. Lavender Ice Cream, Lavender Cookies, as well as Lavender Liquid Refreshments:
Lavender Teas (hot & iced), Lavender Coffee, Lavender Lemonade and more. This year we are happy to have Cafe Demeter offering a selection of their savory lunch offerings.
Festival activities are scheduled 10am - 5pm both days

As we are an organic farm that produces culinary products,
pets and smoking are not allowed in the fields.
