GETTING TO THE FARM (see map)
San Juan Island (postal address "Friday Harbor") lies off the Northwest coast of Washington State, approximately midway between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, B.C. It is directly accessible by vehicles, bikers and foot passengers (Washington
State Ferry from Anacortes, WA and Sidney, B.C., Victoria
Express from Port Angeles, WA and Victoria, B.C., Victoria
Clipper from Seattle, WA and Victoria, B.C.), or by air (San
Juan Airlines, Kenmore Air).
Once you reach the island, regardless of how you get to the farm, the lavender fields and the white Gatehouse Store with its cupola and spire located across from the large lake on Wold Road can't be missed. In general terms, we are located in the southwest portion of the island.
Coming from the town of Friday Harbor, follow Spring Street (the main street through town after getting off the ferry) up through town until it becomes San Juan Valley Road. After about a half mile, turn left on Douglas Road. After about a mile, Douglas bends to the right and becomes Bailer Hill Road. Follow Bailer Hill Road west for several miles down into the valley, up the hill and down into the second valley before turning right on Wold Road. The farm is located about a half-mile up on the right.
Coming from the West side of the island, turn left from Bailer Hill Road onto Wold Road.
Coming from Roche Harbor and the North and center of the island (see map below), get to Boyce Road via either Roche Harbor Road - Egg Lake Road - Beaverton Valley Road or West Valley Road. Wold Road leads south from Boyce Road. This time the farm will be on the left.
GETTING TO PELINDABA LAVENDER FRIDAY HARBOR (see map)
In 2004 we opened Pelindaba Friday Harbor for many reasons, not least among which was to provide a location close to the ferry landing for visitors who might not be able to visit the farm for one reason or another, but who still wanted a taste of our products (literally and figuratively).
This unique Product Gallery is located in the newly built Friday Harbor Center on First Street in Friday Harbor, just a block from the ferry landing (see map). Prominent location and ample signage (including one visible from the ferry parking lanes) make it a breeze for anyone to find us.
GETTING TO PELINDABA LAVENDER SEATTLE
Pelindaba Lavender's first off-island Product Gallery, opened in 2007, is in the heart of Seattle's Downtown Retail Core. This elegant urban store is located at the 6th & Union corner of the upscale City Centre Building (aka US Bank Building) within a two block radius of the Washington State Convention Center, the city's leading hotels (Fairmont Olympic, Sheraton, Red Lion, W, etc), the Washington Athletic Club, and the Westlake and Pacific Place shopping centers.
GETTING TO PELINDABA BELLEVUE SQUARE
Located in Downtown Bellevue, Washington just 8 miles (13 km) east of Seattle, Bellevue Square is a "cosmopolitan adventure unparalleled in the Pacific Northwest". The Square is a luxury shopping and dining destination boasting over 250 unique shops, now enhanced with the presence of Pelindaba Lavender! Bellevue Square is situated on Bellevue Way and is accessible from Interstates 405 and 5.
