In response to the surging demand for hand sanitizers that meet CDC guidelines for helping to minimize the spread of Covid-19, we have now added this Alcohol-based Lavender Hand Sanitizer to our product offerings. This new product meets the CDC guidelines regarding the high alcohol concentration levels required for rendering the Covid-19 causative agent harmless.

The inclusion of soothing aloe and other moisturizing ingredients along with Pelindaba’s organic lavender essential oil in this spray formulation provides a highly effective alcohol-based sanitizer that remains both gentle on the skin and leaves behind a subtle lavender scent to enjoy and encourage frequent usage.

Long-time users of our popular alcohol-free Lavender Hand Sanitizer can still purchase that product which was originally formulated in response to customer requests to remove the alcohol and rely primarily on lavender’s long-recognized broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy as a disinfecting agent. However, given that lavender’s efficacy specifically against the Covid-19 causative agent has not yet been definitively tested under laboratory conditions, we cannot and do not make the claim that the alcohol-free version of our hand sanitizer offerings is appropriate for protection against that agent.

IMPORTANTLY, regardless of whatever hand sanitizer is used, this does not take the place of CDC recommendations for frequent thorough hand washing with soap and water.
