Experience the fragrance of freshly blooming organic lavender fields in your own home with our Organic Lavender Deluxe Sachets. This set of three sachets are hand sewn in the San Juan Islands and are constructed with two types of purple, gold and black fabric. One side is solid satin and the opposite side is translucent organza through which the organic lavender buds are visible.

The lavender flower buds, laden with essential oil, are stripped from their stalks after being harvested, bundled and hung up to dry for several weeks – the exact duration being dependent on the prevailing weather. They are then sifted to remove leaf and stalk fragments before being used to fill the sachets — a centuries-old method of bringing not only their fragrance but also their natural sedative and insect repellant properties of lavender into everyday use.

Taking advantage of the potent natural insect repellant properties of lavender, these sachets provide a wonderfully fragrant alternative to mothballs in linen and clothes drawers.

Another well founded traditional use is the placement of a lavender sachet beside your pillow as an aid to sleep.

Lavender essential oil is an aromatic oil. This means that its fragrance is experienced as the essential oil slowly evaporates. Once the essential oil on the outside of the lavender buds inside the sachet bag has evaporated, squeeze the sachet to break open more buds and release more oil. This method of refreshing sachets can extend their efficacy up to a couple of years. If you have a sachet at home that doesn't have much scent, give if a few good squeezes!

We achieve this by being one of the very few lavender operations to do everything “in-house” — from farming to essential oil distillation to product handcrafting and distribution.

We use only our own organic lavender raw materials from our own fields on San Juan Island, Washington.

We handcraft all our own products right on the farm, and then subject them all to four separate levels of quality control.

We make a point of avoiding the use of any harsh chemical preservatives and not doing any animal testing.

Providing reusable and recyclable packaging wherever possible is just one of the many expressions of sustainability as a core value throughout our operations.
