Order Fulfillment Manager

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is comfortable managing in a fast-paced work environment. This role works closely with customer service representatives, operations staff members and other managers to ensure that customer commitments and expectations are met. At our farm’s operation center, our order fulfillment manager’s main goal is to oversee the fulfillment of all orders as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible including being an active member of the fulfillment team. This role may require but is not limited to managing operations staff members, balancing multiple and varying fulfillment timelines, physically preparing and delivering orders, responding quickly and effectively to the needs of other departments as they arise. This position is physically demanding, requires competence and confidence with computer applications and may require working weekends during peak season (May – Aug) and holiday months (Nov – Dec). This is an ideal position for a well-organized and focused individual with a keen sense for time management who is comfortable balancing multiple different tasks at any given time. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to order fulfillment teammates and other non-order fulfillment staff members. Operations Assistant

We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with a keen interest in work that is varied, fast paced and physical to support our growing operations. This role is involved in all aspects of ensuring the consistent quality and supply of our handcrafted lavender products to the world — from large store orders to individual consumer orders. At our farm’s operation center, duties can include finished product review, packing product cases, moving inventory, recording production run data, receiving, and printing new orders, pulling and packing orders and responding to inquiries from other departments as well as cleaning tasks. Some projects are completed together as a team. Other projects include independent repetitive tasks — record keeping, case packing, order pulling, packing and labeling, etc. — where you can enjoy a book on tape or music with headphones on. This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic, highly focused, detail-oriented individual who prefers to not sit at a desk and enjoys working with their hands on a variety of tasks throughout the workday. Our operations team members are cross trained between departments, regularly participant in a variety of activities and departments and always willing to help with the next task. Experienced Baker

We are seeking an experienced baker with a keen interest in artisan food production to join our skilled culinary production team. This role is involved in all aspects of the creation of our lavender-based baked items — from bulk batch production to product packaging. At our farm’s kitchen and bakery, duties can include the making of lavender baked goods such as cookies — mixing, rolling, cutting dough and packaging as well as cleaning tasks. Some projects are completed together as a team. Other projects include independent repetitive tasks — filling, labeling and tagging, etc. — where you can sit and enjoy a book on tape or music with headphones on. This is an ideal position for an artistic, highly focused, detail oriented, individual who values and enjoys working with their hands and is enthusiastic to learn and continuously hone their skills. Other projects include independent repetitive tasks — filling, labeling and tagging, etc. — where you can sit and enjoy a book on tape or music with headphones on.
